We apply the latest remote sensing technologies and develop machine learning algorithms and software to automate the analysis of urban trees and green spaces. We currently have offices in Berlin, Paris, San Francisco, and Singapore, with production headquarters in Budapest.

As a result of our cutting-edge data capturing (LiDAR scanners and camera systems), millions of points are generated, where our Machine Learning models are finding trees with their parameters, and representing them as digital twins. Machine Learning experts at greehill work with a huge amount of data while utilizing state-of-the-art and self-developed models to find the best ways to provide wider and wider range of information about trees. Your ideas will make sure that the data processing is always performing on the highest level.


Daily tasks in this role

• Improve current Machine Learning model
• Integrate new features into greehill's cloud-based distributed pipeline
• Develop Machine Learning model training and evaluation pipelines
• Optimize code
• Follow up state-of-art research and ensure its implementation
• Build up different pipelines for each state of model development
• Implement new models, training pipeline and evaluation pipeline with the research team (later in this role)

With these skills, you can take off

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals (medior/senior level)
• Strong Machine Learning fundamentals (especially in Computer Vision, Deep Learning)
• Strong Python coding skills (medior/senior level)
• Prior Computer Vision experience
• DevOps mindset

We value if you have

• Experience with cloud-based Machine Learning models
• Experience with relational database (especially postgreSQL)
• Experience with point cloud based Machine Learning model
• GPU programming experience (especially CUDA)
• Active C++ knowledge
