Senior Quality Engineer
We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to help build our Quality Engineering capability.
This is not a traditional manual testing role. You'll be responsible for defining our testing strategy, building scalable automation frameworks, introducing quality gates, and enabling development teams to deliver high-quality software.

We currently have offices in Berlin, Paris, San Francisco, and Singapore, with production headquarters in Budapest.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the Quality Engineering strategy.
Design, create and maintain reusable test automation frameworks.
Establish testing standards and best practices.
Introduce and improve CI/CD quality gates.
Build E2E, integration and API testing capabilities.
Mentor developers on automated testing.
Review testing approaches and promote quality ownership across Engineering.
Perform exploratory and regression testing where automation is not yet available.
Must Have
Strong software engineering background.
Experience building test automation frameworks.
Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar.
Experience with any static code analyzer tool.
Experience testing REST APIs and modern web applications.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of software architecture and testability.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.
Nice to Have
Hands-on knowledge in: TypeScript, NodeJS, React, .NET
GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Performance, security or contract testing.
Docker and containerized testing.
Experience introducing Quality Engineering practices within engineering organizations.
